Renovation of an educational facility in Sedro Woolley, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The project will require the installation of an active sub-slab depressurization system in the SWIFT Center s classroom. This building was previously used by Northern State Hospital as its laundry building which lead to the need for this system installation. The project will require some saw cutting of existing concrete at multiple locations to access the sub slab area and then installing the active sub-slab depressurization system to be exhausted through the roof at locations within the building s existing cupola structures per contract documents. This project is scheduled to be completed by January 31, 2024, with primary construction completed between December 15, 2023 and January 1, 2024 while the facility is planned to be closed.
