Reclaimed Water Production Facility Membrane Bioreactor Wind Retrofit Improvements Question Deadline February 5 at 5pm. The Florida Division of Emergency Management under their Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) program has allocated funding to the City of Marco Island for this mitigation project. Note: This project is funded through grant funds from the Federal government, and all aspects of the project must conform to all applicable federal and state laws and regulations, including 2 C.F.R 200.318 through 200.326 as well as Appendix II to 2 C.F.R. Part 200 (entitled "Contract Provisions for Non-Federal Entity Contracts Under Federal Awards"). For the Hazard Mitigation Grant project, the City of Marco Island solicits bids to enhance the resilience of the Reclaimed Water Production Facility Membrane Bioreactor machinery and equipment against windstorms. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, and equipment, shipment, transportation, and perform all operations necessary for the completion of work as specified in the plans and specifications. The objective involves necessary demolition tasks and construction activities to reinforce the existing pre-engineered structures over the equipment skid and the standing crane structure with steel brace frames, erecting steel siding perimeter walls with impact rated louvers around the structures; integrating rated overhead doors equipped with electrical operators and ensuring comprehensive protection against potential windstorms damages. Furthermore, the project includes the installation of prefinished insulated metal roofing and wall insulation. A new concrete slab and footing should be constructed to align seamlessly with an existing slab. Additionally, the scope includes a new underground 480-volt, 3-phase feeder, ensuring all modifications and additions conform to local building codes, windstorm protection standards, and relevant regulations. This project is located at the Citys Reclaimed Water Production Facility at 807 E. Elkcam Cir., Marco Island, Florida 34145. This project is being bid as a lump sum contract. The contractor is responsible for obtaining the required City of Marco Island permits. Owner will reimburse Contractor for County permit fees paid.
