A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The project includes the construction of a vestibule addition to the west end of the annex building. Interior work includes removing and installing non-bearing interior walls to expand, add and reconfigure existing offices and meeting rooms on both the main level of the annex building and the lower level of the sheriff building. The work will also include new doors, flooring, suspended ceilings, cabinetry, painting, etc. Plumbing, HVAC and Electrical will be included as design/build contractors. START DATE: TBD, winter or early spring 2024, Construction Start date can be negotiated to fit the contractor's workload and schedule starting after January 2, 2024. COMPLETION DATE: August 30th, 2024 PERFORMANCE AND PAYMENT BONDS: 100% of contract price. BIDDERS QUALIFICATIONS: Only qualified General contractors may submit bids on this project work. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waiver any informalities and irregularities in bidding, and to accept any bid deemed in the best interests of the Owner. All bids remain subject to acceptance for thirty (30) days after the day of the bid opening, but the owner may, in its sole discretion, release any bid and return it prior to that date.
