MBC invites you to bid on this tender for elevator, foundation waterproofing, and/or below-grade rigid insulation work. This is a construction management project for the construction of a new affordable housing apartment building located in Ottawa. MBC is on contract as the acting general contractor. The scope of work involves the construction of a brand new 54-unit apartment building. The building is approximately 39,000ft2 consisting of 4 storeys above ground and one basement. The building has a concrete foundation with a mostly wood frame structure. All suites are bachelor apartments each with one bathroom and a small kitchenette. The basement consists of an office space for the daily activities of the owner. All tender documents will be available to download free of charge on MBC tender portal at mbc.ca/current-tenders * The project value listed reflects the total project estimate. *Contract amounts were unreleased for publication. Awarded subcontractors: -Duron Services - waterproofing and foundation insulation. -Revêtement GB - Exterior wall insulation. -Accurate Drywall - Interior insulation (acoustic and thermal).
