Award: Steed Paving is in the amount of $362,591.80 The City of North Augusta is accepting bids for full depth patching of various streets in North Augusta, South Carolina as part of the 2024 Pavement Repair project. Proposals shall be accompanied by a 5% bid bond. Sealed proposals for the 2024 PAVEMENT REPAIR & RESURFACING will be received by the City of North Augusta Engineering Department, 100 Georgia Avenue, North Augusta, South Carolina 29841 until 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 14, 2023 and at that time and place publicly opened and read. The complete examination and understanding of the construction plans and specifications and the site of the proposed work is necessary in order for the bidder to properly submit a proposal. Copies of the proposal form and contract documents including the specifications and drawings are available at no charge from the City of North Augusta Engineering Department, 100 Georgia Avenue, North Augusta, South Carolina 29841 Each proposal shall be accompanied by a certified check, a bid bond or other acceptable collateral executed by the Bidder and Surety, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid, made payable to City of North Augusta, and submitted as a proposed guaranty of good faith that the Bidder will enter into a contract with the Owner and execute the work contemplated, if the same is awarded to him.
