Site work for a water / sewer project in Delta, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Ladner Wharf, hereafter referred to as "The Wharf," is situated at 4857 Chisholm St, Delta, BC V4K 2K6. Originally the site of the Seven Seas Facility, a fish processing plant constructed in 1974, the Wharf currently stands as a concrete deck supported by precast concrete piles. While the facility was demolished in 2022, the Wharf itself remains intact. Following the demolition of the Seven Seas Facility, a comprehensive assessment revealed that the concrete structure of the Wharf had incurred some deterioration and weathering over the years. While none of the repairs are urgently required, the concrete deck remediation needs to be completed to ensure the long term viability of the Wharf. The scope of this project is limited to the rehabilitation and repair of the Ladner Wharf's concrete structure. The scope of work will encompass addressing structural concerns found in twelve specific areas, as outlined in detail in Appendix A. Award is subject to final approval.
