Closing Time: 12:00 PM (NT) ** Please note that there has been 1 addendum issued for this tender. ** Question Acceptance Deadline 2023/12/01 04:00:00 PM NST 1 Work includes inspections/servicing of fire alarm systems and sprinkler systems as listed within the St. John's and surrounding area and Arnold's Cove, in accordance with current Life Safety Codes and any relevant portions of National Building Code. .2 The contractor shall make all necessary arrangements with any authority having jurisdiction over the work for the performance of any inspections which may be required and shall notify NL Housing at least Seventy Two (72) hours in advance of such inspections to allow notice to be given to NL Housing clients. 3 Fire Alarm and Sprinkler inspections to be co-ordinated and completed on the same day. 4At least 72 Hours notice of servicing and cleaning of the panel and sprinkler systems given to all building personnel prior to commencing inspections. Access to apartments to permit inspection of equipment shall be arranged by NL Housing in consultation with the contractor. 5. Where the supply or servicing of equipment is requested by NL Housing, the contractor shall fill any order by NL Housing within three (3) days for regular work for the hourly rate as noted in Schedule "D". In the case of emergency services, the contractor must be available immediately on a 24 hr basis. 6 Regular office hours are 8:00am-5:00pm (Monday-Friday). Overtime hours are 5:00pm-8:00am (Monday-Friday), weekend (Saturday-Sunday), and statutory holidays. 7 St. John's and surrounding areas is defined as, any location within a 35km radius of the perimeter of St. John's. Commercial General Liability Insurance: Without restricting the generality of Section 5 - Indemnity hereof, the Contractor shall maintain, at its expense, Commercial General Liability Insurance acceptable to NLHC to protect NLHC against all liabilities or damages in respect of injuries to persons (including injuries resulting in death) in the minimum amount of two million dollars ($2,000,000) with respect to the operations of the Contractor and/or its Sub-Contractors and in respect of damages to property arising out of performance of the Work. This insurance shall include NLHC and the occupant of the property as Additional Insureds. The Contractor shall not commence any work until a Certificate of Insurance, obtained at the Contractor's expense, has been received and approved by NLHC as specified herein.
