As of December 21, 2023, this project was awarded to Miller Soil Solutions, LLC., the awarded amount of $369,497.50. As of December 20, 2023, this project has not yet been awarded. Project expected to award today. The project scope consists of the removal of the existing Crottlestown Road structure and the construction of a precast/post-tensioned concrete box culvert. The proposed culvert has a clear span of 16 feet and an approximate length of 34 feet. The roadway work will involve reprofiling and widening, placement of subbase and paving, as well as guiderail and other minor improvements. All documents and solicitation details are available any time online. Hard copies of all documents may be optionally purchased online. Project documents are available for inspection at the offices of the engineer, Pennoni Associates Inc., 5072 Ritter Road, Suite 102, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Owner in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid or bids. Only bonds from companies licensed to do business in the State where the Owner is located will be accepted and the bond shall so state same. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Rates apply to this contract. Bids must be submitted unconditionally. No bidder may withdraw bid within sixty 60 days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities, or to reject any or all bids.
