As of August 22, 2024, project was awarded to Valley Directional Drilling, Inc., awarded amount is $223,946.50. The work to be performed consists of 1,400 L.F. of 8-inch Diameter HDPE horizontal directional drilled waterline along Sollenberger Road and all required appurtenances Each bid must be accompanied by a Certified or Bank Check, or Bid Bond naming as payee or obligee, as applicable, the Bear Valley Franklin County Pennsylvania Joint Authority, in -the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid as security for proper execution of the Agreement and submitting other documents as required by the Bidding Documents. The Successful Bidder will be required to execute the Agreement and to furnish a "Performance Bond" and a "Payment Bond," each of said bonds to be in the amount of Hundred Percent (100%) of Contract Price, all in the respective forms provided in the Bidding Documents. The Bear Valley Franklin County Pennsylvania Joint Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts there of or items therein, to waive any defects or irregularities in the Bids, and to accept any Bid which, in its judgement, is for its best interest. Bids shall remain open for a period of sixty(60) days from the date of Bid opening unless award is delayed by a required approval from a government agency or the sale of bonds, in which event, the bids shall remain open for a period of one-hundred twenty (120) days from the date of the bid opening. The successful bidder will be required to comply with Prevailing Minimum Wages in accordance with the PA Department of Labor & Industry Prevailing Minimum Wage Determination Question Deadline 06/17/2024 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be directed to Engineer in writing.
