The Bergenfield Public Library is soliciting proposals through a competitive contracting process in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40A:11-4.1, et. seq. RFP responses must be enclosed in a sealed envelope, clearly marked with the name and address of the respondent, RFP title - Custodial Services, and addressed to Allison Ballo, Library Director, Bergenfield Public Library, at the address above. Responses shall be received by mail or hand delivery by the submission due date as no proposals received after this time will be considered. A walk-through of the building in which the custodial services will be performed Thursday February 1, 2024 between the hours of 10am to 12pm. If the Library is forced to close unexpectedly due to inclement weather on February 1, 2024, the rescheduled walk through date is Tuesday, February 6, 2024 between the hours of 10am-12pm. Prospective bidders are welcomed to visit the building on their own time to inspect the hallways, measure the floors, and review any other information they may need to finalize a proposal. Please be advised, no questions will be answered during said visits. Any RFP Addenda will be issued on the website, and processed in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40A:11-23 (c)(1). Therefore, interested respondents should check the website from now through RFP opening. It is the sole responsibility of the respondent to be knowledgeable of all addenda related to this procurement. Bidders are required to have a current New Jersey Business Registration Certificate P.L. 2004, N.J.S.A. 52:25-24.2. Respondents are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et. seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 et. seq.
