Renovation of a municipal facility in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The work under this Contract includes, but is not limited to the following: .1 Remove and dispose of existing wood window systems, complete with glazing. The Window Frames are finished on the exterior with lead containing paint, and exterior caulking and window putty are asbestos containing material (ACM), and are to be removed and disposed as Hazardous Material. .2 Install new metal clad window systems, complete with new interior wood trims and components to integrate with existing wood window surrounds. New windows are to replicate as close as possible to the the interior and exterior aesthetic and detailing of existing windows, including but not limited to frame/mullion size, profile, geometry and finish colour. .3 Remove and salvage for reuse existing wood trims and window hardware as indicated. Documents are available through the Construction Association of NB.
