FY2024 - Concrete Street Maintenance The scope of work involves the supply of all essential materials, equipment, transportation, and skilled labor for the purpose of executing concrete street maintenance activities, encompassing pavement, sidewalk, and curb removal and subsequent replacement across multiple streets within the City. Specific project location and quantity of materials to be used shall be as set forth in the Plans and Specifications. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities and to reject any or all bids. Each bidder must deposit with his bid security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the information for bidders. No bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The Contractor and all subcontractors will be required to comply with all applicable State Regulations including Equal Employment Opportunities, Non-segregated Facilities, Prevailing Wage Rates and Affirmative Action Requirements, and all other work incidental thereto as described in the Contract Documents. Any person signing a contract to work on the construction of public works for any public body shall provide a ten-hour Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) construction safety program for their on-site employees which includes a course in construction safety and health approved by OSHA or a similar program approved by the department which is at least as stringent as an approved OSHA program. All employees are required to complete the program within sixty days of beginning work on such construction project.
