AWARDS & AMENDMENTS: Award will be posted on the District's website on or after December 15, 2023. A. GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS 1) Soil Testing - conducted annually to test the soil pH, lime content, sulfates and extractable P, K, Mg and Ca contents. Results of testing will be shared with respective coach and Athletic Director with a prescribed fertilization program based on soil tests. A calendar of fertilization will also be shared with appropriate personnel. 2) Weed Control - 1 pre-emergence application February-April and September-October (after Ryegrass germinates), 2 post-emergence applications as necessary June-August. Spot treating for weeds as needed. Note: The pre-emergence in April can be done in combination with fertilization. A. One total Bid Price, covering the initial one year contract and subsequent second year, shall be submitted for each athletic field listed. B. Invoicing: Monthly invoice must list each location and the date service was performed at each location. (See attachment - Athletic Fields) 1. Football Field & Practice Football Field 2. Softball Field A & B 3. Baseball Field 4. C-Team Baseball Field C. Prices shall remain firm the entire contract period. Any services not performed will be deducted from the appropriate invoice. D. The initial term of the contract shall be for two years. The contract is scheduled to begin on February 1, 2024 through January 31, 2026. Anderson School District Three reserves the option to extend said contract for three additional one (1) year periods up to a total of five years. E. Any concerns will be documented in writing to the Contractor. Corrections and/or recurring concerns, in excess of 3 times per year due to unsatisfactory service, will be cause for termination of the contract. F. This contract may be canceled by either party at any time, but not less than thirty (30) calendar days following date of written cancellation notice by either party of the contract.
