Renovation of an educational facility in Peru, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive any irregularities in the Bidding, and to award contract in Owner's best interests. L.E.A.S.E The work consists of HVAC Upgrades to all classroom spaces, gymnasium, select offices, and breakout spaces to the L.E.A.S.E. Circuit Breaker School. The proposed project is a complete replacement of the existing steam boiler system with a new high-efficiency boiler system and associated infrastructure. A direct replacement of existing classroom unit ventilators will be provided with new hot water/direct expansion heating/cooling units utilizing existing fresh air intake openings with split condensing units to be located on the roof. The electrical service will be upgraded. Miscellaneous remodeling throughout the building and additional work as indicated Bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Base Bid amount proposed, in the form of a certified check or cashier's check made payable to the Owner, or a Bid Bond, must accompany bids. Selected bidder is required to provide a satisfactory performance bond and labor & material payment bond covering the full performance of the contract. The costs of the bonds are to be included in each contractor's bid proposal. Selected Bidders must assure that all persons employed by Bidder, and all applicants for such employment, will not be discriminated against because of their race, creed, color, sex, age or national origin
