Site work and asbestos abatement for a municipal facility in Peru, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility; and for asbestos abatement for a municipal facility.
The City of Peru reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof, or waive any irregularities or informalities, and to make the award in the best interest of the City of Peru. All bidders must comply with applicable Illinois Law requiring the payment of prevailing wages by all Contractors working on public works. Bidder must comply with the Illinois Statutory requirements regarding labor, including Equal Employment Opportunity Laws. The successful bidder shall be licensed with the City of Peru, IL. A non-collusive affidavit shall be included with the bid. The Non- Collusive Affidavit will be included with the bid documents. Certified payrolls are required for the project. Illinois Valley Regional Dispatch is tax exempt. This project involves the abatement of asbestos-containing materials at the Illinois Valley Regional Dispatch Center located at 1503 4th St., Peru, IL 61354. The work includes the removal and disposal of asbestos containing pipe fittings, 9"x9" floor tile, and window caulk.
