Bridgewater - Grove and College Parking Lot. Pre-Bid Conference: See solicitation documents for optional pre bid/proposal conference/site visit. The Town of Bridgewater is accepting bids from qualified, class A contractors to construct an approximately 6,715 square foot permeable paver parking lot, located at the intersection of West College Street and South Grove Street and identified as Rockingham County Tax Map No. 122A3-(A)-L86. Generally speaking, the Work consists of (i) excavating the lot; (ii) installing layers of sand and stone; (iii) installing an underdrain and associated drainage pipes; (iv) installing traffic-rated interlocking permeable pavers, suitable for a parking lot and in a color approved by the Town; and (v) concrete work for the parking lot entrance, curbing, and a dumpster pad. The overall project is the construction of an approximately 6,715 square foot permeable paver parking lot, located at the intersection of West College Street and South Grove Street and identified as Rockingham County Tax Map No. 122A3-(A)-L86. The project plans are designated as Exhibit A and are incorporated herein. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all bids. All bids shall be accompanied by a five percent bid bond for the total amount of the base bid. The Contractor shall provide a performance bond in the sum of the contract amount conditioned upon the faithful performance of the contract in strict conformity with the plans, specifications, and conditions of the contract. Contract Time. All Work shall begin no later than February 1, 2024 and must be completed by August 1, 2024. Questions concerning this procurement should be submitted as provided on the ITB Cover.
