Lake Charles, LA 70615 Bids shall be accepted only from contractors who are licensed under LSAR.S. 37:2150-2163 for the classification of "Building Construction." No bid may be withdrawn for a period of fortyfive (45) days after receipt of bids, except under the provisions of LSA R.S. 38:2214. The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office/Tony Mancuso Sheriff reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause as permitted by LA R.S. 38:2214B. The ability of an entity to reject any bid is applicable only when administered in accordance with the Public Bid Law. In accordance with LSA R.S. 38:2212B.(1), the provisions and requirements of this Section, and those stated in the bidding documents shall not be waived by any entity. All bids must be plainly marked and should contain the following on the outside of the envelope:

Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office Construct a new automobile and truck repair facility. Facility to generally include service bays, automobile parts storage, restrooms, and offices. Building shall generally be a steel building with interior
walls being concrete block and drywall. The building shall be complete with compressed air, water and
lubricants at all service bays. There is also a separate building for Body Shop. There is also an alter-nate for a new generator at the adjacent CPSO Annex. Site work shall include paving and storm water
retention. The Shop building shall be provided with an automatic sprinkler system and fire alarm.
This project shall be bid as a Base Bid with 3 deductive Alternates.
Alternate No. 1 shall be deduct the Body Shop. Alternate No. 2 shall be deduct the Generator. Alternate No. 3 deduct the open truck parking pavilion
