Renovation of a fire / police facility in Aklavik, Northwest Territories. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
Work of this Contract involves the replacement of temporary AC units in the Shared Services Canada (SSC) server room in the Henry Larson Building, located at Yellowknife, NWT, with a single train condenser/fan coil unit c/w associated ducting, electrical, control sensors, etc. .1 Work of this Contract involves supplying and installing a cooling system for the LAN room of the Henry Larsen Building, located at 5010 Veterans Memorial Drive in Yellowknife. The work includes but not limited to: .2 The work includes but not limited to: i. Installing one fan coil (FC-1) and one condensing unit (CU-1). ii. Equipment that will be supplied by Departmental Representative are as follows: FC-1 AND CU-1 iii. Supplying and installing an air management mixing box system. iv. Supplying and installing controls. Controls must be connected to DDC system. Alarms must be logged and reported back to SSC (Shared Services Canada). v. Install two steel angles on each side of new openings through existing masonry wall and fasten with approved masonry anchors. vi. Install new panel and transformer. .3 Commissioning is provided by the consultant, with the contractor demonstrating to the consultant through execution of commissioning inspections/functional testing that the equipment installed operates as designed, the consultant will witness all commissioning activities. .4 Work includes demolition and removal of all existing materials that are to be replaced in the above work. Any property or features damaged during the demolition must be replaced or repaired to its original state. Breakers that are to be removed are returned to the owner. .5 Remove any waste material off site and dispose of properly. .6 All materials and workmanship must be as per stamped plans and specifications. .7 Based on their capabilities, contractor may provide an optional additional cost to provide the following: Aside normal warranties, SSC will need support contracts for all active\gear: 24 x7 phone support, on site response within 24 hours, quarterly preventive maintenance.
