The projects objective is to provide off-road shared-use paths and/or barrier-separated on-street multi-purpose path that is compliant with the Americans with Disability Act (ADA) and will attract a large and diverse group of pedestrians and bicyclists for commuter and recreational use. The project supports an approximately three (3) mile section of the larger Tide to Town (TTT) Core Route along the length of Middle ground Road. This is a QBS solicitation. GDOT Project. Only electronically submitted proposals via the City of Savannah supplier portal will be accepted. It is the policy of the City of Savannah that disadvantaged business enterprises (DBEs) be given fair opportunity to participate in the performance of services for the City, and that prime contractors utilize DBE subcontractors and suppliers to the fullest extent possible consistent with the efficient performance of the contract. The City of Savannah has established an 20% DBE goal for this project. The Community reserves the right to reject any or all SOQs or Technical Approach, and to waive technicalities and informalities at the discretion of the Community.
