The Town of Richmond reserves the right to reject any and all proposals submitted in response to this RFP in whole or in part, to waive any and all informalities, and to disregard all non-conforming, nonresponsive, or conditional proposals. The Sandy Bottom Park is heavily used by residents and visitors. The park wooden bridges are in need of replacement, and wooden boardwalk is in need of repair. The Town seeks to obtain bids to remove existing pedestrian bridges, install new bridges and complete improvements to the existing boardwalk. Town of Richmond is requesting proposals for the replacement of two existing wood pedestrian bridges spanning Honeoye Creek with new FRP pedestrian bridges to include improvements to adjacent boardwalk sections in proximity to the new bridges. Bridges will be purchased by the Town and anticipated to be assembled on site. The site is situated within state / federal wetlands (state regulated wetlands: ID: HO-4, Class: 1) (national wetland inventory: Attribute: PEM1E, Type: Freshwater Emergent Wetland) (national wetland inventory: Attribute: PFO1E, Type: Freshwater Forested/Shrub Wetland) (national wetland inventory: Attribute: PFO1C, Type: Freshwater Forested/Shrub Wetland).
