Site work for a detention facility in Fairbanks, Alaska. Completed plans call for site work for a detention facility.

The Engineer's Estimate is around $730,000 - $800,000. The apparent successful bidder must furnish a payment bond in the amount of 100% of the contract and a performance bond in the amount of 100% of the contract as security conditioned for the full, complete and faithful performance of the contract. The apparent successful bidder must execute the said contract and bonds within ten (10) calendar days, or such further time as may be allowed in writing by the Contracting Officer, after receiving notification of the acceptance of their bid. Description of Work: This State funded project that will require the contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, travel / lodging cost to expand the fence detection system at Fairbanks Correctional Center (FCC) in Fairbanks, Alaska and Lemon Creek Correctional Center (LCCC) in Juneau, Alaska. The intent of this project is to provide a hybrid intrusion detection system to accommodate sensor cable and sensor coil technology as identified in the scope of work. The Engineer's Estimate is around $730,000 - $800,000 FCC & LCCC On-Site Work Schedule Limitations: On-site work shall be 7 days a week, from 7:00AM until 5:00 PM. No overtime allowed unless approved by the DOC. All work shall be completed in N/A Calendar Days, or by August 30, 2024 (both locations) The Department will identify interim completion dates, if any, in the Special Provisions. To be responsive, a bid must include a bid guaranty equal to 5% of the amount bid. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
