The intent of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is for SWVMHI to obtain the services of a contractor(s) to provide equipment, material, and labor for the replacement of a 400HP Kewanee Burner and all associated materials to include but not limited to wiring, controls, switches, sensors, pumps, and piping to provide a complete and operational burner. The Owner reserves the right to cancel the IFB, to reject any and all bids at its sole discretion when such rejection is in the interest of the Owner, or to reject the bid of any bidder who is determined to be not responsive or not responsible The successful bidder will be responsible for the complete isolation, removal and disposal of the existing burner and any obsolete wiring and conduit. The products to be supplied will be newly manufactured and will be guaranteed to be new product. All work and materials used shall be in compliance with the Uniform Statewide Building Code (USBC) and AIA Section 260519-FL; 260526-FL; 260533-OT. A. The work shall include furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials, in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations. The bidder should include in its quotation all materials required, including but not limited to: a. New burner mounting plate. b. New burner - Basis of Design Limpsfield LCNO 53 and all associated connections for operation c. Gas Train and connections to existing gas supply for proper operation of burner d. New fuel oil pump and all associated connections for operation e. New Controller and pressure sensor f. All associated electrical connections and extensions for operation g. Wiring to existing Boiler Controls h. Testing of operations i. Burner adjustments on Natural gas and #2 fuel oil j. Owner Training on new burner and controls k. Operations and Maintenance documents
