Renovation of a mixed-use development in Charlottesville, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 5,291-square-foot, one-story above grade medical facility.
Project Description: Renovation of approximately 4,500 SF of Level 01 of the University Hospital to expand the MRI department to include one (1) new MRI, shell space for (1) future MRI, and associated support space. Phase 1.1 documents were previously issued and bids have been received for demolition and enabling work only. Phase 1.2 includes masonry, structural steel, interior architectural woodwork, metal composite panels, membrane roofing, applied fireproofing, firestopping and sealants, openings, interior glazing, metal framing & drywall, acoustical ceilings, flooring, painting, wall protections, toilet and bath accessories, radiation protection, fire suppression, plumbing, HVAC & Controls, electrical, and fire alarm systems. Direct all inquiries to the construction manager. DO NOT CONTACT THE OWNER OR ARCHITECT Project Memo #1 was issued 12-1-2023. All questions should be addressed in writing (email preferred) no later than 2:00 PM Friday, December 15 th and submitted to the preconstruction manager. Questions do not need to be submitted on any specific form or format. Do not contact the design team or owner with questions.
