Renovation of a municipal facility in Columbia, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Current project schedule runs from July 2024 through August 2025 No bid may be withdrawn after the opening of bids for a period of 90 days. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive informalities. The owner reserves the unqualified right to reject any and all bids. Reasons for rejection may include, but shall not be limited to, the following Furnish all labor, materials and equipment necessary for a complete and operating Building Management System (BMS), utilizing direct digital controls as shown on the drawings (M-001 thru M-705-22 sheets total), specification (239000-53 pages total)and as described herein. Provide new BMS direct digital controls by Distech Controls (ECB BACnetSeries). facilities running the Niagara 4 Framework. The basis of design of the network area controller is the JACE-8000. BMS contractor shall provide all components required for a completeoperating system. BMS contractor shall provide all control valves and actuators for controldampers. CAP will supply any motorized dampers. BMS contractor shall provide a conduit and wiring/cable drawing. Liquidated damages, as stated in the contract documents, is an amount reasonably estimated in advance to cover the economic loss in not being able to use the Project for its intended purposes at the end of change order, if any, by reason of failure of the contractor(s) to complete the work within the time specified. Liquidated damages (including but not limited to additional fees for architectural and engineering services, testing services, inspection services, commissioning services, etc.), such other damages directly resulting from delays caused solely by the contractor, or consequential damages that the Owner identified in the bid documents that may be impacted by any delay caused soley by the Contractor (e.g., if a multi-phased project-subsequent phases, delays in start other projects that are dependent on the completion of this Project, extension of leases and/or maintenance agreements for other facilities).
