The Project consists of a new 100,000-gallon multi-column elevated storage tank and all associated site work, piping, electrical, and controls. Doc Notes: Bidding Documents also may be examined at online, plans available at online the office of the Tyrrell County, on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 9:00 am and 3:30 pm; and the office of the Engineer, LKC Engineering, PLLC, located at 140 Aqua Shed Court, Aberdeen NC 28315, on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 9:00 am and 3:30 pm. Alternatively, printed Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office either via in-person pick-up or via mail, upon Issuing Office's receipt of payment for the Bidding Documents. The non-refundable cost of printed Bidding Documents is $100.00 per set, which includes shipping, payable to LKC Engineering. Upon Issuing Office's receipt of payment, printed Bidding Documents will be sent to the Bidder. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the prospective Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Project Description This project features the erection of a 100,000-gallon, multicolumn elevated water storage tank in Tyrrell County, NC at the intersection of North Carolina Highway 94 (NC-94) and N. Gum Neck Road. The tank will be installed on the west side of NC-94. The general construction consists of, but is not limited to, the following items: 1. Erection, coating, and sterilization of elevated storage tank 2. Installation of valve vaults and general site piping 3. Installation of chain link fence 4. Installation of site lighting 5. Clearing/Grubbing site without burning 6. Connection to existing 6-inch water main on NC-94 7. Bore and Jack under NC-94 The construction shall be performed in accordance with the contract drawings and specifications and shall be produce a complete and working system upon completion. The Contractor shall be responsible for examining any discrepancies in site piping elevations prior to the bid, and any additional fittings or length of pipe necessary to transverse from one elevation to another shall be the responsibility of the Contractor.
