Renovation of an educational facility in Nelsonville, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Background: Hocking College is Seeking an Nfpa 1403 Compliant Burn StrucTure. Need is for a Two Story Burn Structure With Two Burn Rooms, One on Each Floor. An Interior and Exterior Staircase, Pitched Roof Prop, Standpipe and Sprinkler System Prop, and Forcible Entry Door Props Should Be Included in Proposal. Project Goals and Scope of Services: Our Goal is to Have a Quality Structure That Meets the Needs of the College's Fire Program, Allowing Students to Gain Necessary Experience to Succeed in Their Field. A Vendor Will Be Expected to Provide and Install a Fully Functional Burn Structure That Meets the Needs of the College. Elements of Proposal: A Submission Must, at a Minimum, Include the Following Elements: Detailed Drawings of Proposed Structure Detailed Quote of Cost for the Structure, Including Any Installation Costs Provide Information Regarding the Life and Durability of the StrucTure, How Often the Burn Rooms Will Need to Be Repaired or Replaced, the Average Cost of Replacement for a Burn Room, and the Site Prep Needed Prior to Building the Structure. Timeline for When Project Can Be Started and Length of Time to Complete Once Started Evaluation Criteria: The Successful Respondent Will Meet the Requirements Indicated in the Background and Proposal Elements Sections Meet the Needs of the College's Fire Program at an Affordable and Reasonable Cost, With Considerations to Ongoing Maintenance Costs Athens Messenger
