Reference Number 0000336382 The Town of Tiverton is requesting proposals for professional consultant services for the purposes of conducting an update of the Town's Hazard Mitigation Plan (HMP) in compliance with the Rhode Island Emergency Management Agency (RIEMA) and Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) requirements and conformance with 44 CFR Part 201. The successful bidder shall work with the local Hazard Mitigation Committee to gather public input, review the existing HMP and existing conditions, and determine what changes, updates and additions are necessary to update the plan. The successful budder shall include the most current information regarding recent natural hazard occurrences, inventory areas vulnerable to natural hazards, make any revisions necessary to the Town's risk assessment matrix, and review and update recommended mitigation measures outlined in the present HMP.
