Site work for a civil project in Lowell, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
For the work described herein, at the project site, the Waste Water Treatment facility, RTE 110, First Blvd, Lowell, MA The City of Lowell is seeking bids to construct new manholes and catch basins provide repairs to pipes as scheduled or due to an emergency. To assist the City in this effort, the City is issuing this Invitation for Bid (IFB) to solicit responses from qualified Bidders who can meet the project requirements stated herein. January 1, 2024 to June 30, 2026 Clarifications of Specifications Any request for clarification to, or relief from, the specifications, must be submitted in writing to the attention of the assigned Buyer at the Purchasing Departments office no later than five (5) business days prior to the Due Date. A certified check made payable to the City of Lowell in the amount of 5% must accompany this bid. Bid bonds are acceptable. A performance bond in the amount of 100% of the total dollar award is required prior to contract execution. A payment bond in the amount of 100% of the total dollar award is required prior to contract execution. The Purchasing Agent reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to accept any bid, in whole or in part which it considers to serve the best interest of the City of Lowell.
