The City of Lowell is seeking Pre-Qualification packages for the improvements to Lowell Duck Island Wastewater Treatment Facility. MBE (4%), WBE (5%) This project includes improvements and upgrades to Lowell's Duck Island Wastewater Treatment Facility (DIWWTF). The Work for the DIWWTF includes the following improvements: - Primary sludge degritting equipment upgrades - New chemical phosphorus removal system including a new PAC Building - Aeration system upgrades - Hypochlorite chemical feed pump and storage upgrades - Bisulfite chemical feed pump and storage upgrades including a new Bisulfite Building - Scum handling and disposal improvements - Gravity thickener mechanism replacement - Sludge pumping and blending system upgrades - Centrifuge dewatering and sludge conveyance upgrades - Polymer system upgrades - Influent Building improvements - Sludge Processing Building improvements - Electrical upgrades to various buildings The required contract completion is 1020 consecutive days from Notice-to-Proceed
