Security Doors Project at Kinston School, Zion Chapel School, and New Brockton High School. All bidders must be a licensed Alabama General Contractor. All bidders' home offices must be located within 50 miles of CCSS. A mandatory site visit to each school campus is required to determine all necessary work to complete the project. All bidders must attend a pre-bid meeting in order to be eligible to submit a bid. Overall scope of work includes but is not limited to the following: Provide & install access control systems for selected entries and exists on multiple campuses Access control systems must be compatible with current systems All existing security doors will be utilized in the project and therefore must be compatible with the selected system The Coffee County Board of Education reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids; to waive technicalities or informalities; and to award the bid to other than the high bidder if cause can be documented. The lowest responsible bid meeting specifications will be presented to the Coffee County Board of Education at the next meeting for consideration and any award. Notification of any award will be provided to the successful low bidder only following Board approval. Bid must be submitted on the school system's Bid Proposal Form. To adhere to the Alabama Immigration Law, the following forms must accompany all bids: E-Verify Memorandum of Understanding, Affidavit of Alabama Immigration Compliance, and Alabama Immigration Law Compliance Contract. Bid submission packets must be properly labeled with the bid project title, vendor's name, address, phone number and general contractor's license number. All required documents must be placed in a sealed envelope clearly marked "Security Doors Bid".
