Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Warrenton, Oregon. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
As of January 3, 2023, Project was awarded to Big River Construction, Inc. for $143,441.50. The intent of this contract is to reconfigure the parking lot and provide drainage in South Main Avenue. The following is a brief summary of the major elements of Work that are to be provided by the Contractor o Removal of sidewalks, curbs and other structures. o Installation of new storm drain piping (12-inch diameter). o Installation of a new catch basin. o Construction of new curbs, sidewalks, and a new driveway. o Street reconstruction (excavation, base and asphaltic concretepaving). o Parking lot striping, markings and legends. o Temporary traffic control\ o Erosion control. The contract will be subject to Prevailing Wage Statute ORS 279C.800to 279C.870. The contract is NOT subject to federal prevailing wagerates under the Davis-Bacon Act (40 U.S.C. 3141 et seq). All bids must be accompanied by a certified check, a cashier's check or bid bond in an amount equal to at least 5%of the total bid. Project Substantial Completion shall be: o Substantial Completion: 180 days from Notice to Proceed o Project Final Completion: 210 days from Notice to Proceed
