The work to be performed under this contract includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, and equipment for completion of slope repairs, including, but not limited to, excavation, surface and subsurface drainage systems, rockery walls, geosynthetic reinforced embankments and walls, roadway construction, traffic handling in addition to other items or details not mentioned above, as required by the plans and specifications, shall be performed, placed, constructed or installed. Each bid must also be accompanied by a security in the form of a bid bond issued by a corporate surety, a certified check or cashier's check payable to the Treasurer of Amador County, or cash for an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the aggregate sum of the bid. This bid is subject to federal-aid (FEMA) contract requirements. The FEMA provisions in Exhibit C are incorporated into the contract. No prebid meeting is scheduled for this project. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract price, a Payment Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract price. All bonds (Bid Bond, Performance Bond, and Payment Bond) must be obtained from a surety admitted under the laws of the State of California and satisfactory to the Amador County Board of Supervisors.
