Project Description: This Bid Package #2A consists of additions and renovations at Lincoln Middle School. Sealed bids will be received for the Bid Package described below: Bid Package No. 2 Core & Shell: 04A - Masonry 05A - Structural Steel 07A - Waterproofing 07H - Roofing 07J - Metal Panels 08H - Glass & Glazing 26A - Electrical Switchgear Bidders will be required to provide Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond of a sum no less than 5 percent of the Bid Amount. The Owner and Construction Manager reserve the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive informalities therein to determine the lowest and best bid, and to approve the bond. The Statutes of the State of Illinois require that not less than the prevailing rate per diem, legal holiday and overtime wages in the locality where the work is to be performed, be paid to all laborers, workmen and mechanics employed in the execution of the Contract.
