Renovation of an educational facility in Edwardsville, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The Board of Trustees of the Southern Illinois University governing Southern Illinois University Edwardsville hereby requests sealed bids to furnish all labor, equipment, tools, and materials to replace existing energy recovery units and roof top units in Prairie Hall on the Edwardsville campus. Bids will be received from 2024 SIUE Prequalified Ventilating Contractors. SIUE reserves the right to reject any proposed substitution. Prequalification: Bidders who have not completed and returned their SIUE prequalification statement, which is valid for the period January 1, 2024 through December 31, 2024, will be required to prequalify in accordance with the bidding contract provision - If SIUE is closed due to inclement weather on the pre-bid and/or bid opening dates, the pre-bid meeting and/or bid will be due the first day SIUE is open at the same time as referenced in the bid documents. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of 5% of the total of their bid. A bid bond, certified check, bank draft, or cashiers' check is acceptable (personal or company checks are not acceptable).
