This Contract is for the tree clearing on Winston Churchill Boulevard from 150m south of 17th Side Road/Mayfield Road to Old Pine Crest, in the Town of Caledon Winston Churchill Boulevard is a boundary road that delineates the municipal boundary between Halton Region and the Region of Peel. Halton and Peel Region share jurisdiction and the responsibility for most of the roadway. This section of Winston Churchill Boulevard from 150m south of 17th Side Road/Mayfield Road to Old Pine Crest is scheduled to be reconstructed in 2025. Ahead of the construction works trees need to be cleared within the MECP bat habitat timing window prior to March 31st, 2024. This is necessary for utility relocations to initiate in April of 2024.
