Installation of a chain-link fence around the perimeter of the satellite antenna at the Canadian Coast Guard telecommunications site in Sainte-Flavie. This is the first phase (Phase 1) of a two-phase competition: the first phase will evaluate the qualifications of all bidders; second phase (Phase 2) will invite the qualified bidders to provide a financial bid on the project based on the specifications and drawings. Upon award of contract in Phase Two the pre-qualification list will be terminated, no additional contracts will be awarded. The Canadian Coast Guard wishes to install a galvanized steel chain link fence with three (3) rows of barbed wire at the perimeter of the satellite dish located on its telecommunications site in Sainte-Flavie. The perimeter of the new fence must include a pedestrian access with gate in two sections (1/3, 2/3) and a second vehicle access. The Contractor is responsible for providing all labor, transportation, handling, materials, equipment and tooling required to perform the following work in accordance with the requirements of these general and technical instructions, the specifics of the site and the project drawings. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to: - Protection of existing structures for the duration of the work; - Excavation for fence foundations; - Placement of concrete in sonotube forms for fence foundations; - Fence installation and grounding. The Contractor must perform and complete the Work by March 31, 2024. A list of pre-qualified bidders from Phase 1 will not be released.
