Site work for a water / sewer project in Charlestown, Maryland. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Pre-dredge bathymetric survey of targeted dredge areas to get existing condition depths. All dredge areas shall be dredged to -4’ MLW depth and shall follow previous dredge limits to allow for adequate access to Town boating facilities. The dredging shall be done mechanically with material hauled to Town’s dredge material placement site. The Town will allow for loading of dump trucks to be done at the Town boat ramp. Obtain all necessary permits for dredging. Permit should allow for mechanical dredging with material hauled by dump truck to Town of Charlestown’s DMPS located adjacent to Town water tower. Develop final design plans and specifications for construction bidding of the dredging work, with 30/60/90% progress designs provided to the Town for review. Assist the Town during the construction bidding phase by responding to bidder’s questions, attending the pre-bid meeting, issue meeting minutes, perform bid analysis and tabulation of received bids, and review and make a recommendation on award. Perform post-dredge survey of completed dredge work and provide recommendation to Town of substantial completion. Provide an as-built survey of dredging work completed
