Desmond T. Doss Health Clinic (DDHC) is an eighteen-building medical campus mostly comprised of historic buildings constructed in the late 1920s. Formerly known as Schofield Barracks Health Clinic, DDHC was originally constructed as a 500-bed hospital complex that has been modified and adapted for many different health-related functions over the years. Between 1995 and 2021, major interior renovations and replacement of all roofs were completed. Most of the health clinic buildings are two-story structures linked by an open, covered two-story lanai. When some departments were consolidated and moved into the new DDHC Medical-Dental & Behavioral Health Annex (aka the “Annex”, Building 674), it drove a need to right-size and modernize other departments in the remaining facilities listed below (e.g., the Outpatient Pharmacy is significantly undersized and does not meet current criteria). Magnitude of Construction: $85M - $95M Prevailing wages apply. Project Duration = 1440 Calendar Days.
