The Georgia State Financing and Investment Commission (GSFIC) will accept bids in strict conformity with the bidding and Contract Documents for the Project listed below: Project No. GDC-24-RUTL-SP-017 Project Name: Rutledge State Prison Elevator Fire Protection Project Location: Columbus, Georgia 31907 The scope shall include: Design, furnish, coordinate, install and commission a fire alarm detection, notification system and recall for elevator at Rutledge State Prison. Contractor will provide all elements and programming for termination of smoke detectors, relay modules, and Horn Strobes on elevator controls also test elevator fire services phase one and two operations. Questions regarding the bidding documents, the bidding process, e-Builder, and all other questions should be submitted in e-Builder. No questions other than those submitted in writing will be accepted, and only written responses will be binding upon GSFIC. Fire Alarm Panel - a new fire alarm panel will need to be installed in the main control room at Rutledge State Prison. This panel will need to be EST 3 Panel or a fire alarm Panel compatible to communicate with EST-3 Panels currently at the facility. This panel will be required to meet all NEC/NFPA Standards. Conduit - All Conduit will be 3/4 ridged piping - Painted red for identification. The Conduit will be attached with two-hole straps. All Connections will need to meet NEC/NFPA standards. Electrical Wiring - All wire sizes will need to meet the applications according to NEC/NFPA Guidelines Devices - Smoke Detectors - Total of 4 - 1 in lobby downstairs, 1 in upstairs lobby, one in the mechanical room for elevator controls and - 1 in the elevator shaft. Schematics - a wiring Schematic for this installation will need to be provided to GDC in a jump drive format. Programming - After completion of the fire alarm panel - a copy of the programming will need to be supplied to GDC - jump drive format Certification - A certification document will be provided at the end of the project - documenting that the current fire alarm panel/ and function of the elevator alarms function according to NFPA guidelines.
