Local Roads Rehabilitation and Green Streets Capital Works. Green Streets include natural or human-made elements such as trees, horticulture, permeable surfaces, or stormwater management systems that provide ecological and hydrological functions. These are found within the right-of-way on areas such as sidewalks, in the roadway, on traffic islands or in the boulevard. The natural or human-made elements that make a street, a green street, are sometimes referred to as low impact developments (LIDs). TIMELINE: The Request For Proposals has been issued by the owner. The awarded proponent will provide professional services for Engineering Design, Construction Administration and Post-construction Services for the Local Roads Rehabilitation and the Green Streets Capital Works. Services include twenty months (20) months of design and tendering, sixteen (16) months of construction, and two (2) years post-construction. Name of Trade Agreement(s) that is Applicable to the procurement : Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA), Trade and Cooperation Agreement between Ontario and Quebec (OQTCA).
