Site work and new construction of a multi-residential development in Kingston, Ontario. Completed plans call for the construction of a 2,340-square-foot, three-story above grade, three-unit multi-residential development; and for site work for a multi-residential development.
As of February 8, 2024 this project was awarded to CaraCo, however awarded amount is not available. This Request for Proposals (the RFP) is an invitation by the City of Kingston (the City) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Design-Build services for the development of a new housing triplex at 255 Yonge Street in Kingston, as further described in Part 2 of the RFP Particulars (the Deliverables). The design and turnkey development of a residential triplex at 255 Yonge Street on a vacant site as owned by the City of Kingston and now zoned as of right for this development. The City provides preliminary drawings to indicate its intent for this development, with the proponent to design and obtain permits for a development that generally meets these requirements. The intent is to increase housing supply by this new development of 3 x 2-bedroom units approximately 810 sq ft each for affordable housing purposes.
