Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Hubbard, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The Base Bid Project includes the installation of approximately 4,800 linear feet of 6 waterline on Caroline and Rebecca Avenue between West Liberty Street and Myron Street. Miscellaneous improvements such as pavement repair, installation of new hydrants and valves, abandonment of an existing 6 waterline, service line and curb box installation, and site restoration are included. The engineers estimate is provided in the bid documents. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in bidding All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty, made payable to the City of Hubbard, Ohio, in the form of either: (1) A Bid Guaranty / Contract Bond for the full amount of the bid, or (2) A certified check, cashier s check, or letter of credit pursuant to Chapter 1305, Ohio Revised Code, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid amount pursuant to Chapter 153 of the ORC. Each bid submitted must include a current copy of the Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Certificate of Compliance as evidence that the bidder is certified by the State of Ohio. *Document note: All requests for interpretations of the meaning of the plans, specifications, or other contract documents must be received at least six days prior to the bid opening for consideration.
