The purpose of this solicitation is to establish a contract for a source or sources of supply for the purchase of new air filters for SCDC's Facilities Management Division. [01-1015-1] This is for a one (1) year contract with the option to renew for (4) additional (1) year Terms not to exceed a contract total of (5) Years. Any resulting contract will begin on the date specified in the notice of award. See clause entitled "Term of Contract - Effective Date/Initial Contract Period". [01-1040-1]SAP All Questions Must Be Sent in Writing via Email to the Buyer; Briseno.monica@doc.sc.gov Air Filters shall be pre-pleat panel filters. Each filter shall consist of a cotton and synthetic media, heavy gauge expanded support grid or self-supportive enclosing frame, the filter shall be listed by under writer's laboratories as class 2. Filter media shall have an average efficiency of 25-30%, and have an average arrestance of 85-93% based on ASHRAE test standard 52.1-92. The frame shall be constructed of a rigid, high wet-strength beverage board. Diagonal support members shall be bonded to both the air entering and the air exiting sides of each pleat.
