Ground Up Public Works/Parks & Recreation Facility In general the project consists of an 49,000 sq. ft. public works / parks facility and a 10,000 sq. ft. cold storage facility. Project consists of the following divisions of work: Earthwork and Utilities, Hot Mix Asphalt Paving, Landscaping & Seeding, Fencing, Building / Site Cast in Place Concrete, Precast Architectural Concrete, Structural Precast Concrete, Masonry, Carpentry, Metal Fabrication, Roofing, Metal Composite Material Wall Panel, Steel Studs, Building Insulation, Aluminum Entrances, Storefronts, and Windows, Overhead Doors, Gyp Board Assemblies, Flooring, Concrete Floor Finish, Cabinets & Millwork, Acoustical Panel Ceiling, Painting, Metal Building Systems, Flag Pole, Bridge Crane, Fire Protection & Sprinkler, Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC, and Signage. Prevailing Wages: Not Required. Bid Bond: No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 10% of the amount bid, payable to the Owner as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 30 days after the award of the contract. The certified check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder as soon as the contract is signed, and if after 30 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the Owner as liquidated damages Performance Bond: 100% of the Contract Price Required Payment Bond: 100% of the Contract Price Required Qualification Statement: Bidders submit a Contractor Proof of Responsibility form provided in the specifications to City of Portage.
