Transfer Station Hauling No bidder may withdraw his/her bid within ninety (90) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bid. The Town of Richmond reserves the right to reject any/all bids, waive any informalities in the bids received and to accept and award the bid to the lowest qualified bid deemed most favorable to the interest of the Town of Richmond. Individuals requesting interpreter services for the hearing impaired must notify the Finance Department (401)539-9000, x8 at least three business days prior to the bid opening. Kindly contact DPW Superintendent Gary Robar at (401) 539-8474, or via email, at DPWSuperintendent1@richmondri.com with any questions, regarding this Request for Proposals and/or bidding process. The Town of Richmond is seeking proposals for the hauling and switching services for the town's transfer station located at 51 Buttonwoods Road. The transfer station is open Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday for normal business and resident drop off. The town desires to enter into a three-year contract.
