Renovation of an educational facility in Teutopolis, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The project consists of the project consists of removing and replacing approximately 27,200 square feet of an existing EPDM roof membrane over insulation attached to a metal deck. It will be replaced with a new fully adhered EPDM roof system including insulation and cover board. Bid security is required, in the form of a bid bond or certified check in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the base bid as guarantee that the bid will not be withdrawn within 30 days after the date of opening of bids, and that the successful bidder will enter into a Contract for the work awarded to them. Bid security shall be made payable to Teutopolis CUSD #50. Bonds are required. Both a Performance Bond and a Labor and Payment Bond are required for this project, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids or any part thereof, to waive any informality in bidding, and to accept bids deemed most favorable to the owner. Award of a contract is anticipated to occur at the December 18, 2023 meeting of the Board of Education, Begin construction on May 28, 2024. The Work shall be Substantially Complete on or before Friday, July 26, 2024.
