Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Ashland, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
The project consists of the removal of an existing 96" corrugated metal pipe in approximately the 7200 block of Angel Lane (+-950' west of South Airport Drive) and the installation of a 7'x7' precast reinforced concrete box culvert with tapered end sections with the necessary pavement repair, embankment stabilization, and immediate upstream and immediate downstream channel stabilization. All work will take place in existing right-of-way or easements. The City of Ashland reserves the right to award the contract to the "lowest and best responsible bidder". The City further reserves the right to waive any irregularities in any or all bids, reserves the right to determine which is the most responsive, responsible bidder, and to reject or approve the bids. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security of 5% of the total amount of the bid (bid bond, cashier's check, or approved money order payable to the City of Ashland, Missouri). Work under this contract to be fully complete within 150 calendar days upon Notice to Proceed. Further questions regarding this project will be considered when submitted in writing at least five days prior to bid opening (December 27, 2023).
