The goal is to provide initial design services for improvements to the City's Carson Park including plumbed restrooms, accessible drinking fountains, and an outdoor amphitheater. The will determine the best placement for the improvements and whether the restrooms and drinking fountain should be incorporated into the amphitheater or in a separate building. This phase of design will provide a feasibility study, alternatives analysis, and preliminary site plans for the potential design alternatives. The scope involves architectural design for the proposed structures; civil engineering design for site layout and floodplain considerations; utility design for new water, sewer, and electric connections; and topographic survey to support the feasibility and alternatives analysis. The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and waive informalities or irregularities therein. Any proposal received as a result of this request is prepared at the consultant's expense and becomes City property and therefore, public record.
