**As of February 3, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The City of Fitchburg will receive bids for the Tower Hill Park Shelter Renovations project This project consists of renovations to interior and exterior and related miscellaneous items of the park shelter. Proposals shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certified Check in the amount of 5% of the bid, payable to the Fitchburg Treasurer, as a guarantee that the bidder, if the bid is accepted, will exe- cute and file Contract and Bond within 15 days of award. Performance and Payment Bonds each 100% of the bid, with executed Contract is required of successful bidder. Bids will be received for the proposed work which generally consists of selective demolition, cast in place concrete, masonry, steel fabrication, finish carpentry, solid surface vanities, metal roofing, hollow metal framed windows, fiberglass doors and frames, engineered wood trim, resinous epoxy flooring, tile, painting, plumbing, mechanical, electrical and related miscellaneous items and work. Question Deadline 12/31/2024 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing.
