Summary Sarasota County intends to renew a sole source procurement with Aquionics Inc. for the provision of inspection, repair and maintenance services as well as all parts needed for the maintenance of the inline Ultraviolet Disinfection System for Beach Road Stormwater Treatment Facility for a period of one year. In the event respondents demonstrate the ability to supply the same or substantially similar products and/or services, the County may, in its sole discretion, elect to cancel this sole source and advertise a competitive solicitation. Background Per correspondence from Aquionics dated November 21, 2023, Aquionics, Inc. is the only OEM supplier of Berson and Hanovia parts and service in the state of Florida. Use of any unauthorized parts voids all system and performance warranties, implied or otherwise. Any vendor who believes they can provide the goods and/or services described in the attached sole source documentation should respond to this ISS by the date specified. To be considered, vendors must complete the attached Intent to Sole Source Response form (under "documents") and respond to this solicitation by clicking "place offer".
